Please do not download kernel-2.2.18-0_biscuit_3.src.rpm. It contains the kernel source and prepatch which you are better off getting from kernel.org rather than overusing my puny net connection. Its specfile is a slightly older version and you don't want it anyway, the one in the new w4l package will work better. You can get the rest of the files from that package out of the SOURCES directory on this website. You can get the spec from the SPECS directory, but it is in the kernel-w4l source package anyway, along with some other files. The kernel-w4l source is not very big since it doesn't include any files that are in the base kernel source package.

This kernel contains the server-tuning patch but no Win4Lin support, use this kernel in the event that you are trying to diagnose system problems you think may be related to the Win4Lin enabled kernel. Sorry, no 686 available, if you would like one, simply grab the source rpm and install it. Then simply run:
rpm --target=i686-redhat-linux -ba kernel-2.2-biscuit.spec
If you do decide to build a 686 kernel without win4lin, please don't send it to me for inclusion on this page, I don't really have the bandwidth to serve it anyway. However I will be happy to maintain a link to another site.
